Potato Demonstration Plot

The potato demonstration plot was arranged in the village Anda in 2008 and in the village Tsnisi in 2010, 2011 and 2012 aiming to identify high productive varieties by appliance the similar methods. 26 varieties of Dutch Elit class seed potato was produced on the demonstration plots. All the procedure were conducted considering processing of the seed material, fertilizing of the soil, appliance of herbicides, fungicides and insecticides during the vegetation period and releant irrigation.

As a result of test, the following high productive varieties were revealed: "Picasso, Saviola, Pecaro, Faluka, Arnova, Arinda, Markizi, Avisheni with average productivity rate 50-57 tons and with the lowest indicator 30-45 tons per ha.
